Accounting Associate

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Reconcile various accounts including bank, accounts receivable and payable, suspense receivable and payable, and other GL accounts
- Support the Accounting Manager and CFO in the reporting and tax -related functions
- Support the interim and year-end audit
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships,
- Assist in the operations of the department by maintaining sound knowledge of department functions, tasks, policies, procedures and systems
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field with an emphasis in finance or accounting
- CPA designation is preferred
- 1 to 3 years of experience in financial service industry is considered an asset
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills and advanced excel skills are a must
- Good organizational and communication skills to manage workload, communicate with teams and effective assist
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Great organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Remains flexible to withstand unpredictable changes to schedule and deadlines
- Fluent in Korean preferred
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
