Welding Supervisor

Welcome to **Mancar Mills International** We area division of the Mansour Group, and we provide mechanical expertise in the skilled trades by employing millwrights, welders, and electricians to perform repairs for its customers in the mining and construction industry.

We are in the search for a **Welding Supervisor **to join our team. We count on our Welders to keep moving forward and meet the challenge with remarkable results

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Analyze drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan welding operations.
- Coordinate and enforce job production, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure all welding personnel can read and understand approved welding procedure data sheets.
- Communicate job expectations and performance requirements to welders.
- Enforce specific welding requirements before inspection.
- Be able to analyze blueprints and drawings to initiate welding projects.
- Training welders on new equipment and technologies as they become available.
- Oversee welding projects and operations and ensure that safety procedures are being followed.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience in a supervisorial role is considered an asset.
- Experience in welding and manufacturing.
- Substantial knowledge of CSA welding standards.
- Extensive knowledge of welding tools and procedures.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using power and hand-held equipment.
- MUST be able to successfully pass all required training, background check, and drug and alcohol testing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Efficient problem-solving skills.
