**Current Shift**:This is a casual position working as an Indigenous Support Liaison when necessary, up to 30 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, 10 months per year while regular classes are in session.
**Pay Rate**:$25.85
**Qualifications and Job Description**:
- This position is an on-call position that provides direct support to the Indigenous students and their teachers at various schools throughout the District when a replacement is needed for one of the school based Indigenous Education Assistants
- The applicant will act as a positive role model for Indigenous students
- Applicants must have demonstrated ability to provide instructional support in a school setting with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the school and students
- Applicants must have demonstrated strong, positive interpersonal skills with students, staff, and the community.
- Applicants must be willing and able to step in with short notice as this is an on-call position that requires you to cover another employee’s absence
- Minimum secondary school graduation, direct or related experience with a preference given to applicants with post-secondary training and experience related to supporting school-aged children/youth
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A CUPE POSITION.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 27.5 per week
**Salary**: $25.85 per hour
