Outreach Worker

Kikmanaq Indigenous Cultural Revival Association (KIRA) is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and community driven individual to take on this exciting role.

This position requires a student equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player. The position will be responsible for connecting people in the community to relevant organizations, businesses, and resources by cultivating and building relationships.

This conditional acceptance is pending the recruitment and selection of a student that meets the following eligibility criteria: Be between the ages of 15 and 29 (inclusive). Must be planning to attend full-time studies in the upcoming academic year. Must have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year. And, be a member of the Qalipu First Nation or Self-identified Indigenous Person. Position is for 35 hrs per week for up to 16 weeks.

Position is open until filled and to start ASAP. Typical hours of work are 8am to 4pm. Subject to mutual agreement, some evening and weekend work may be required.

**Salary**: $13.20 per hour
