**Position Overview**

The yard associate will be responsible for assisting customers and preparing orders for pick up and deliveries while making sure the yard is safe, clean, organized and professional conditions exist at all times.

**Duties Inc**
- Preparing orders and loading delivery trucks
- Ensure the yard is safe, clean, organized, and professional conditions exist at all times
- Loading contractors and retail customers in yard
- Equipment maintenance and grounds maintenance duties
- Operate forklift and loader in yard efficiently
- Assisting customers and recommending products and ideas
- Perform all other related duties as assigned

**Personal Attributes**:

- Able to listen and execute directions effectively
- Must be able to lift weight of 70 lbs
- Be enthusiastic and dependable and work in a fast paced environment
- Punctuality
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and under direct supervision
- Desire to learn and improve (Further opportunities available)
- Computer Literate is an asset
- Knowledge in the landscape/construction industry is an asset

All applicants will be reviewed discretely.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Residential construction: 1 year (preferred)
