**Major Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with members to understand their unique mortgage needs while providing high levels of professionalism and care.
- Provide expert, personalized guidance on mortgage products and services, aligning recommendations with each member’s specific financial situation and goals.
- Engage in community outreach initiatives and promotion activities to raise awareness about the credit union and expand the member base within our communities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and credit union policies to offer current and compliant lending advice.
- Ensure a positive, memorable experience for members by delivering exceptional service and support throughout the mortgage process.
- Ensures full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, safeguarding the credit union and its members.
- Proactively identifies referral opportunities that support building member relationships and achievement of their financial goals.
**Required Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability**:
- Secondary school diploma.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in financial services, with preference given to experience within the Credit Union system.
- Demonstrated understanding of lending principles and practices, with specific knowledge of consumer lending products and regulations.
- Proven sales and business development understanding, with a track record of achieving targets and goals.
- Education or equivalent experience with Products & Services, Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning, Consumer & Residential Mortgage Lending, and Business Financial Statement Analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of Wealthview banking system functionalities, including workplace operations and form utilization considered an asset.
- Accountability for both personal and branch-assigned growth goals, targets and major initiatives.

Pay: $29.80-$34.99 per hour
