**NBRC Staff Lawyer Job Posting**
The New Brunswick Refugee Clinic is hiring a staff lawyer. This one-year, full-time contract position would be available to start immediately.
**About us**:
The primary service provided by the NBRC is legal representation of refugee claimants before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB). This includes helping clients prepare and submit their refugee claim, preparing documentary evidence, conducting mock hearings, conducting country conditions and legal research, and representing clients at refugee claim determination hearings.

La Clinique des Réfugiés du Nouveau-Brunswick (CRNB) est un organisme sans but lucratif. Le mandat du CRNB est de fournir des services juridiques bilingues gratuits aux demandeurs d'asile et aux personnes qui présentent des demandes d'immigration pour raisons humanitaires au Nouveau-Brunswick et qui n'ont pas les moyens de payer un avocat privé.
Le principal service fourni par la NBRC est la représentation juridique des demandeurs d'asile devant la Commission de l'immigration et du statut de réfugié (CISR). Cela comprend aider les clients à préparer et à soumettre leur demande d'asile, à préparer des preuves documentaires, à mener des audiences simulées, à mener des recherches sur les conditions du pays et des recherches juridiques et à représenter les clients lors des audiences de détermination de la demande d'asile. Nous pouvons occasionnellement aider avec les demandes pour motifs humanitaires (HC), les examens des risques avant renvoi, les appels en matière d'immigration, l'aide aux personnes détenues pour des raisons d'immigration et les demandes de contrôle judiciaire à la Cour fédérale.

**Salaire**:

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
