Experienced Barista

Caffe Fantastico is an established independent, quality focused and family owned coffee roastery, with three bustling locations in Victoria. We have an upcoming opportunity for a **Experienced Barista** to join our team.

We believe that each person who works with Caffe Fantastico contributes to our rich culture and positive work environment by creating unforgettable guest experiences in both customer service and coffee preparation.

**This position is a full time, long term position that will require 35-40 hours a week in the fall and winter; it may not be suitable for those returning to school this fall unless they are able to commit to full time alongside their school schedule.**

**An experienced barista will have**:

- Previous training to be able to execute espresso preparation to SCAA standards and the ability to work within Fantastico espresso parameters
- Latte art skills
- A high level of professionalism and customer service that has been fine tuned in previous job experiences
- Serving experience an asset

We offer a starting wage of $16.75-17.25/hour based on experience, with current tips between $6 and $10/hr on top. Lots of room to grow in our business

We are fully licensed and have three great kitchens, using fresh local ingredients; enticing gratuities reflective of excellent customer service; and an impressive selection of local craft beer and wine.

Schedule will start out as 3-4 days per week, building to full time as experience grows.
