**Location**: We are seeking a **Pantry Runner **for the **Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba**.

Canada Life Centre is an indoor sports arena and entertainment venue in downtown Winnipeg. The arena is the home of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

**Principal Function**:
Premium suites provide premium seating opportunities within sporting arenas and other such entertainment venues. Luxury suites are typically owned by individuals or corporations and usually include private dining/reception areas, theater-type seating, flat screen monitors, Internet access and other amenities not found in standard seating sections.

The Pantry Runner will act as a liaison between the kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and suite guests. Their primary duty is to deliver food to guests, and they collaborate with Servers and Bartenders to ensure customer satisfaction. Delivering food orders from the kitchen to club seating patrons timely and accurately.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Assemble orders for transport to Suites.
- Deliver and re-supply menus to Suites.
- Ensure orders are delivered timely and correctly
- Ensure customers who order alcohol are legally able to do so.
- Deliver extra supplies as requested by customer upon delivery of order.
- Perform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Age 18 or older.
- Basic knowledge of beer and wine laws and serving procedures.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.

**Other Requirements**:

- Must have the ability to walk and climb concrete steps for shifts varying in length and a distance of 3 to 4 miles or more.
- Quick well-placed mobility is needed to avoid moving obstacles.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
