- We are seeking a_ **_Field Technician _**_to join our _**_Information Technology Team. _**

**_ We are looking for a teammate with:_**
- Recognized University Degree/College Diploma in Computer Science
- Ability to work weekly, rotating shifts (8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm, 12 - 8pm), as well as rotating on-call shifts
- Microsoft certification
- 1-2 years IT support experience
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system
- Experience with Handheld inventory devices
- Knowledge of POS retail systems and software
- Valid driver's license and ownership of a vehicle

**_This teammate's accountabilities will include:_**
- Being present and on-site at various estate locations in Grimsby and Niagara on the Lake
- Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to the end user workstations and to the enterprise server systems.
- Install and configure workstations.
- Provide first and second level support via telephone or on-site.
- Recommend and coordinate repairs with third party providers to resolve issues.
- Interact with enterprise user community and provide high-quality, responsive help desk support.
- Resolve complex problems where information is readily available or standard procedures exits.
- Proactively identify recurring problems and recommend solutions.
- Escalate problems to third party or Oracle second level support when necessary.
- Provide support for The Wine Shop Point-of-Sale system.
- Install new software releases and system upgrades.
- Evaluate and install patches on desktop equipment.
- Monitor Exchange server and mail routing.
- Evaluate, install and maintain anti-virus software.
- Create and maintain Active Directory accounts.
- Create and maintain Oracle E-Business Accounts.
- Perform Oracle first level support.
- Provide cell phone, IP phone and digital telecommunication support.
- Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions/hazards to their reporting Manager.
