**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to accurately input customer orders and process payments
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
- Upsell additional menu items and promote special offers to customers
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Handle food in a safe and hygienic manner, following proper food handling procedures

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Ability to upsell and suggest additional menu items to customers
- Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely preparation of sandwiches during peak hours
- Willingness to help team members with various tasks as needed
- Experience in food preparation, particularly in a sandwich or deli setting
