**The Position**:
**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Work with teachers to support students individually and in small groups;
- Provide coverage for teachers and supervise students during recess and lunch;
- Participate and contribute to relevant professional development sessions;
- Oversee the management of the Junior School After Care Program;
- Provide enriching and engaging before and after care programming;
- Contribute and maintain a safe, and nurturing environment
- Maintain accurate records for billing
- Other duties as assigned
- Hours will either be 9-5pm or 10-6pm

**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**
- Post Secondary Degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Assistant, or a Bachelor of Education (asset);
- Member of the Ontario College of Teachers (asset);
- Experience working with students from age 4 - 12;
- Professional, organized, approachable, positive, flexible, creative, dependable;
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
