**Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Coordinator to join our team on a maternity leave contract period of 1 year.

As a Receiving Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies into our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to order production materials, coordinate the receiving process, including inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for supply chain management.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate the receiving process, including inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and ensuring accuracy of received items
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments
- Maintain accurate records of received items, including updating inventory systems and documentation
- Assist with inventory management by organizing and storing received items in designated areas
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Assist with sourcing and procurement activities as needed
- Support vendor management by maintaining positive relationships and negotiating favorable terms

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in receiving coordination or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

**Position Details**
- This is a temporary Mat leave contract position, contract period is for 18 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
