**About the Role**:
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

**What You'll Do**
- Perform basic set-up, calibration and testing, computer assembly, component insertion, and software installation
- Responsible for product hardware and software configuration work
- Refurbish product including repack, reimage, dissemble, reassemble, and clean product
- Test and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, monitor and computer related accessories
- Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements or procedures, blueprints, drawings and diagrams
- Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
- Prepare technical reports
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
- Assist with customer technical support when required
- Provide product specification, product configuration and details of service offerings to both internal associates and TD Synnex customers when required
- Assist with bench repair work (repair PC, laptop, LCD monitor)
- Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
**What We're looking For**
- 1+ year related experience
- Experience with electronics and computer related product and peripheral equipment
- Assembling computer and configuration of peripheral equipment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- College diploma or above in computer hardware and network related area is asset
- A+ certification is asset
- Ability to complete the required technical training certification in order to get authorized as Service/Product test provider
- Ability to read, comprehend and implement test procedures from written documentation
- Ability to review test procedures and understand failure analysis
- Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
- Meet weight lifting requirement of up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be able to work with precision tolling in small places
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

- Peut aider à la sélection et à l'installation d'équipements de test spécialisés
- Aider au support technique client lorsque nécessaire
- Fournir des spécifications de produit, des configurations de produit et des détails sur les offres de service aux associés internes et aux clients de TD Synnex lorsque nécessaire
- Aider aux travaux de réparation sur banc (réparation de PC, ordinateur portable, moniteur LCD)
- Les heures de travail seront du lundi au vendredi, de 8h30 à 17h00.
