**CHILD & YOUTH WORKER**

**Full-Time Position**

**Annual Salary Range: $52,307.73 to $58,073.46**

Residential Program, Toronto, ON

This individual is a front-line staff member, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, under the direction of the Program Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
A diploma from a recognized community college in a directly related field, i.e. C.Y.W., or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or equivalent. 3 years of demonstrated related Child & Youth Work experience with adolescents in a residential treatment setting would be an asset. Able to work on a multi-disciplined team, and demonstrate well developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

MUST HAVE:

- Willingness to work irregular hours
- Ability to engage with people of diverse backgrounds
- Experience in facilitating group work
- Computer skills in an Office 365 environment, including TEAMS and other virtual platforms
- Background and experience in outdoor education, i.e. camping, wilderness
- Experiential-based nature of the program requires ability to participate in several trips of 5-30 days in duration throughout the year
- Pedagogic experience/knowledge
- Valid Driver’s Licence

Hours of work: 40 hours/week
