**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate of a recognized Echocardiography program.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDCS).
- Two years related clinical experience working as a Echocardiographer in the past five years in a similar hospital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform echocardiograms on patients of all ages (adult, pediatric and infant).
- Demonstrated ability to perform transesophageal echocardiography at hospital sites that provide this service.
- Applies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and inter-disciplinary practice by meeting professional practice standards as outlined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers and related professional associations.
- Applies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service.
- Integrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solving.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
