**Summer Arts Programming (TOROS)****:
**Choreographer Assistant**

**Effective July 4, 2023 to August 15, 2023**
- (Hiring for this position is based on student enrollment)_

**Location**:North Bay, West Ferris Secondary School

The Choreographer Assistant will provide direct support to the Teacher Director and Teacher Producer in engaging youth in learning and developing skills to ensure the production’s musical/theatrical routines run smoothly. The Choreographer Assistant will work directly with performers on dance compositions and movement.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Various Aspects of Musical and/or Theatrical Productions
- Previous experience choreographing or providing assistance in choreographing stage productions
- Strong knowledge of dance composition and movement
- Experience Developing and Supervising Youth Programming (ages 12-17 years)

**Knowledge/Skills Required**:

- Strong Leadership and Communication Skills
- Proven Time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- First Aid and CPRC Training is considered an asset
- Preference will be given to Applicants with Sound and Lighting experience

**Rate of Pay: $3000.00 (140 hours)**
