**Responsibilities**:
- Some of the key responsibilities for the engineering position include;
- Create internal design drawings and customer quote/job drawings to support day to day activities using Solidworks CAD software.
- Support production activities in updating and designing of tooling equipment to improve overall efficiency of production assembly.
- Complete technical calculations for customers using in-house programs.
- Technical writing of reports, project plans, specifications, and proposals.
- Some hands-on production support may be required to facilitate high order volumes within certain months.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus of study in Mechanical Engineering. (required)
- 0-2 years work in the field of study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office basics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.). (required)
- Experience with design software (SolidWorks, Ansys, etc.). (preferred)
- Experience with hands on assembly/modifications/repairs related to mechanical equipment. Experience in use of various hand and power tools. (preferred)
- Familiarity with ASME Sec VIII, B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes. (preferred)
- Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. (required)
- Valid Canadian driver’s license. (required)
- Willingness to work or travel for international fieldwork (valid Canadian passport required).
