Our company is a global leader in industrial automation and is looking for an Électromécanique / Electromechanic Technician / Industrial Mechanic, to join our team in Quebec City. The Électromécanique / Electromechanic Technician / Industrial Mechanic provides technical support for automated material handling equipment in warehouses and distribution centers, using complex troubleshooting and problem solving with an array of technical tools.
- This position requires working on the production floor.
- Maintenance and repair of diverse production equipment.
- Work directly with customer resident maintenance team to increase system knowledge, resolve issues and prevent issues from recurring.
- Participates in internal meetings.
- Occasionally performs extended hours, weekend and holiday work in support of customer service and change requests.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electromechanical equipment, including electric motors, generators, power transmission systems, and control systems.
- Ability to identify and efficiently solve problems, minimizing downtime and optimizing production.
- Proficiency in installing, repairing, and adjusting electrical and mechanical components, following safety and quality standards.
- Competence in maintaining industrial automation systems
- Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with environmental and safety regulations in the workplace.
- Ability to work in a team and effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors

**What are we looking for?**
- DEP or Professional Certificate in Electro Mechanic or similar
- Familiarity with automation technology, e.g. conveyors, automated cranes, packaging technology
- Knowledge of bus systems, e.g. Ethernet, ASI, Profibus Willingness and ability to work off shifts and weekends based on our customers’ business needs.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and French an asset
- Conducted preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
- Diagnosed and repaired electrical and mechanical faults in production systems.
- Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to implement improvements in equipment efficiency and reliability.
