A Setter plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of a restaurant. **As a Setter, you will**:
- **Clear, Clean and Reset Tables**: Remove used dishes, utensils, and glasses from tables as soon as guests are finished. Wipe down and sanitize tables and chairs after each use to ensure a clean environment for new guests. Set up tables with clean silverware and glassware in preparation for new diners.
- ** Maintain Cleanliness**: Sweep or vacuum the floor and clean spills to keep the dining area tidy and safe.
- ** Restock Supplies**: Replenish items like napkins, utensils, and condiments at the tables or in the service areas as needed.
- ** Assist Servers**: Help servers by bringing out food, refilling drinks, or providing extra napkins and utensils when requested.
- ** Handle Special Requests**: Accommodate special requests from guests, such as providing extra plates or utensils.
- ** Communicate with Staff**: Keep open communication with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any issues that arise.
- ** Monitor Dining Area**: Pay attention to the dining area and address any needs or issues that may arise, such as ensuring guests have everything they need or quickly responding to spills.
