The Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel offers an upscale experience for many valued guests, and provides an equally thrilling experience to grow a career With 32,000 square feet of meeting and convention space and 390 premium guest rooms, our Associates are front and center of the hotel; driving all aspects of the business
**Responsibilities**
- Set up and tear down tables, chairs and stages and other objects related to business requirement, Food and beverage stations (i.e. coffee stations, food buffet etc), and Audio-Visual Equipment if necessary.
- Cleaning, maintaining and keep in working order the cleanliness of all banquets/convention areas.
- Receive and deliver guests needs. (I.e. Banners, messages, Client Boxes etc.)
- Refreshing the meeting rooms and other convention areas
- Vacuuming all related areas
- Adhere to all In-house policies (Such as Energy Saving and Security)
**Requirements**:
- **Has flexible availability to work days, evenings, holidays & weekends**:
- Is a friendly, energetic person who prides themselves on creating memorable guest experiences through warm & genuine service
- Has previous banquet experience
- Is able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced and energetic environment
- Takes initiative and recognizes opportunities for success
- Is able to lift up to 50lbs
- Understands that success lies in working together and enjoys being part of a team
- Serving it Right certificate an asset
- Speaks fluent English. Additional languages to connect with international guests is an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $23.04 per hour
