With this acquisition, Saint-Gobain reinforced its worldwide leadership in light and sustainable construction by becoming the top siding player in Canada. In support of this acquisition, Saint-Gobain has an exciting career opportunity for a **D Driver at our Peterborough branch** to join our team.

**WHAT’S THE JOB?**

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday - start at 6AM as needed/throughout the summer
**Status**:Full Time, permanent, On-site

The DZ Driver will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments and must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment (lift truck, forklift, etc.). Understanding the impact of this position to other business functions (such as Inventory management and customer relations) that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of delivery operations is crucial.
- Loading and unloading material
- Order Picking
- Customer service
- Inventory cycle counts
- Forklift driving
- Other warehouse duties as required

**Here is what’s important to have to apply**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Valid Driver D license to perform deliveries
- Load securement experience
- Manual transmission experience
- Strong team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Good organization skills
