Brookfield Concrete and Island Concrete supply precast concrete infrastructure for industrial, commercial and residential use. We are proud to be celebrating 40 years of service in the Atlantic Canada region. We have three convenient locations - Brookfield, Port Hastings and Sydney. As a result, we are able to quickly service the Halifax Metro, Truro, New Glascow, Sydney and all surrounding areas.

Brookfield Concrete is the designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the Brookfield Micro-Modular Peat System: the first modular peat system approved for use by Nova Scotia Environment by a Nova Scotian for Nova Scotians.

**Job description**

Prior experience with concrete is not the first requirement; we're happy to train motivated individuals. A solid work ethic, integrity, physical fitness and commitment to safety would be the best platform to get you started. Compensation is based on experience, however we are willing to train.

Our employees work routine shifts Monday to Friday. Applicants must be able to work outside year round with dependable pay and no inconvenient jobsite to jobsite travelling.

Typical day would include various set ups, placing concrete, finishing, removing from molds and cleaning of work area as well as maintenance tasks; producing a range of precast concrete products that we proudly deliver throughout Nova Scotia.

**Salary**: $10.00-$100.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Concrete Finishing: 1 year (preferred)
- Concrete: 1 year (preferred)
