Civil Construction Supervisor

Moncrief Construction Limited is located in beautiful Kenora, ON and has been in business for over 50 years. With operations spanning all over Northwestern Ontario, Northern Manitoba and beyond, we are a rapidly growing company. MCL specializes in heavy civil construction, power and communications line construction, and aggregate production.

**Key Requirements**:

- An ability to supervise, coordinate and collaborate with a team
- Experience supervising construction projects
- Ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary
- Comprehension of proper safety procedures and recognition of hazards
- Ability to work well with shifting priorities and change in a fast paced environment
- 3+ years supervisor experience
- 5+ years civil construction experience
- Valid Class G driver’s license
- Must be willing to travel and sometimes work in remote locations

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the job site
- Facilitation of production goals and standards on-site
- Prepare schedules, work progress, production and daily reports as required
- Monitor performance of employees and subcontractors
- Keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance
- Ensure the job site is following safety standards and enforce company policies and procedures

**Qualifications**
- **Certified Carpenter considered an asset**:

- **Experience with concrete forming and finishing considered an asset**

Work Schedule varies depending on project requirements and project location

Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and work experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $120,000.00-$160,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Civil Construction: 10 years (required)
- Construction Supervision: 5 years (required)
