Student Optician

Hakim Optical is looking for aspiring Student Opticians for our location in Stratford - Festival Marketplace.

You must be available to work all retail hours (including evening and weekends). Must have previous Retail/Customer Service experience. Must dress to impress. Full time positions **ONLY**. Opportunities for advancement. Salary plus generous commission base.

**Qualifications**:
**Enrolled in an Ophthalmic Dispensing program in a reputable College in Ontario**
- Maintain current knowledge of lens technologies.
- Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Retail sales skills with the ability to present and deliver high quality products
- Fast Learner, quick thinker, adaptable to change, attentive to detail with a positive attitude

**Duties include**:

- Office administration and direct billing for insurance
- Eyewear selection, fitting, dispensing and frame repairs
- Contact Lens fitting
- High level of customer service, problem-solving and troubleshooting as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Check jobs from lab
