**Role**: Water Treatment Manager

**Status**: Regular, Full Time Department: Plumbing, Electrical, Water Treatment Division: Enercare Home and Commercial Services

The Water Treatment Manager is accountable for managing the water treatment business. This includes managing a team of technicians/installers and delivering high quality installations and service of water treatment products. Within the business, the Water Treatment
Manager has a specific responsibility for ensuring the delivery of the financial and operational targets allocated to him/her and may also be required to participate in project work activities. This will focus on issues such as cost control and process development. The Water Treatment Manager should have a good technical knowledge of different water treatment products including install and service parameters. This position requires you to work from your own home and travel locally within a specific geographic area on a daily basis to meet with staff.

**Accountabilities**:

- Manage and support the water treatment business in the delivery of the annual business plan across operations, sales (including the builder and dealer network)
- Oversee the installation (both company and contractors) across Ontario
- Provide support to ensure installations and finalizations are timely.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual Sales Plan
- Partner with internal teams including Product & Marketing, IT and Call Centre Operations to contribute to solutions that meet the channel needs.
- Ensure that day to day operational problems which impact on service delivery are identified and resolved through working with the Service Centers, Field Support, Supply Chain, Fleet Services, other specialist support services, contractors and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations and resolve customer complaints, including negotiation/settlement of compensation and insurance within laid down parameters, so as to improve the image of Enercare Home Services. Takes action to identify and address the cause for complaint so that repetition is minimized.
- Identify potential or possible ways in which working practices can be improved and new methods introduced so that water treatment can maximize its profitability.
- Support the growth of the water treatment channel across Canada.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
- Sales leadership
- Excellent knowledge of the company policies and procedures
- Sound base of computer skill knowledge
- Sound base of technical knowledge of water treatment products including install and service specifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Capable of working under pressure. Meeting deadlines, productivity and financial targets
- Ability to motivate and focus staff to meet or exceed district targets
- You are highly motivated by exceeding results and will make it your mission to grow our collective businesses
