Bim Technician

**BIM Technician**

**RDZ Engineers**, a dynamic mechanical and electrical engineering firm, is looking for a Mechanical BIM Technician to join our fast-paced growing team. When you join us, you will work directly with Senior Engineers and Project Managers to develop projects from conceptual design through to construction drawings.

As part of your role, you will be responsible to assist Project Managers in the design of mechanical system.

You'll be responsible for:

- Work with other team members to design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Work within company drafting standards to set up drawings for production.
- Work with Senior staff to further develop drafting standards.
- Prepare drawings in REVIT based on sketches, markups, and discussions with other team members.
- Ability to review other consultant drawings (architectural, electrical, structural) to coordinate mechanical systems.
- Develop ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts with mínimal guidance.
- Be responsible to deliver tasks within reasonable timelines.
- Work to develop and incorporate new items into the company standards.

Qualifications:

- College diploma from an architectural or mechanical building services program.
- One or more years of industry experience.
- Proficient working experience both AutoCAD and REVIT is required.
- Working knowledge of building mechanical systems is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, and deal with deadlines.
- Open to learning, developing new skills/knowledge.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
- BIM: 1 year (preferred)
