Overview:
You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily. As a Assistant Manager, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

**Role/Responsibilities for Assistant Manager Position**:

- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing throughout the entire shift. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Assist customers with custom order requests for apparel and submit custom orders to head office to be sent to production.
- Our team members must process payments by totaling purchases including, cash, credit, and gift cards through our POS system. Must also be able to deal with customer exchanges/returns for store credit courteously and professionally. Maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting our store's commitment to our customers. Stays current with promotional events and sales.
- Delegating and participating in tasks with the staff throughout their shift and ensuring any customer inquiries are responded to during your shift or while the store manager is away.
- Assisting the store manager with staff training and development
- Ordering store supplies weekly and transferring products to our head office.
- Help devise and implement sales strategies, standard operating procedures and store weekly focuses along side the store manager.
- Assisting with helping to lead the sales associates/shift leaders by providing guidance, motivation, and support. This includes helping set clear team goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring the team remains focused on attaining business objectives.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment to enhance team productivity and morale.
- Keyholder responsibilities ensuring to follow all opening and closing procedures.
