**Construction Labourer**

Dub’s Construction Ltd is a general contractor specialising in backyard carpentry projects. We value a positive worksite, high-quality designs, premium building materials, and extra effort to make our projects stand out. Our company is small and new, but we want to establish ourselves as Ottawa’s premium exterior carpentry company.

We are looking to hire a construction labourer for their punctuality and willingness to learn. While there is a long list of responsibilities listed below, the main requirement of our labourers is that they show up every day and do whatever is needed to make the carpenters more effective and the job site pristine. There are opportunities for advancement in our rapidly expanding business.

**Job Duties**:

- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
- We are working in all weather conditions.
- Punctual and on time for work daily.
- Conduct routine setup
- Cleaning of the job site
- Ensure the site is clean and free of hazards.
- Demolition and removal can include helping demo existing fences/decks/etc. and disposing of the materials offsite.
- Follow our safety practices and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with our team.
- Construction that may include building fences, decks, stairs, pergolas, gazebos and carpentry-related projects such as exterior railings and columns.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid G driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle to get to the shop and sites.
- Steeltoe boots

**Salary**:

- $18-$22/hr

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
- Optional Weekends

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)
