Fishing Guide

Wanted: boat captain and fishing guide for small fishing company. We offer $200 for a 4 hour charter and $400 for an 8 hour charter. Our season runs June 1st to Sept 30.

Essential skills:
basic mechanical skills (just in case you need to change a plug)

highly proficient at fishing with downriggers

familiar with Yukon fishing laws and practices

familiar with modern fish finders and chart plotters, GPS, etc

good social skills

**First Aid Cert**

You will be running a reliable 20 ft boat from 1 or 2 locations, 40 mins from Whitehorse. You will need your own vehicle to get to the boat, on the days there are charters.

We can only pay for the days that have charters booked, but we have enough business to get you at least 3 half day charters per week, at a minimum.

The season usually starts slowly but by July, there could be a charter almost everyday. **You keep all of the tips from the clients **Tips average $100 per charter. Some charters don't get tips, some get great tips because of high catch numbers.

You must be presentable and polite, and you must love fishing.

This is a 4 month gig and would love to find someone intelligent, independent, reliable, and willing to make some good money doing fishing charters.

But I know you'll do great.
