**Job Summary**

We are seeking **Electrical Technicians** to join our Maintenance Team. Electrical Technicians are responsible for, but not limited to, the following set of tasks:

- Preventative & predictive maintenance of electrical equipment
- Able to troubleshoot all electronics, electrical issues including PLC related issues
- Update, verify and maintain electrical schematics.
- Assist in maintaining programming, electrical component and schematics standards
- Perform electrical repair work on all machines, equipment, and facilities.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
- Diagnosing faults in, electrical and electronic systems and equipment; repair or replace components as required.
- General Electrical duties including power distribution and lighting.
- Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions, absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- PREFFERRED: Technologist or Technician Degree or Diploma related to maintenance/engineering or Provincial Electricians Ticket (442A or 309A)
- PREFERRED: Relevant experience as an Technologist / Industrial Electrician
- Must have knowledge of PLC
- Proven experience performing electrical/electronic troubleshooting of equipment. (Older equipment)
- Must be capable of interpreting and designing electrical schematics.
- Must have proven ability and experience completing electrical installation work including control wiring, conduit, power wiring and motor control.
- Must be physically able to perform duties as a Maintenance Electrician.
- Must possess own hand tools. Specialty tools and equipment provided.
- Previous experience in cement and manufacturing environment a strong asset
- Desire to work overtime and shift work as we are a 24/7/365 Operation
- Must be able to commute to Embro, Ontario
