Parts Runner

Victor Energy Ltd. is seeking a Parts Runner to join our team based out of our Leduc, Alberta location. You must have good safety awareness, good communication & competent decision-making skills, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions. Essential Functions
- Order parts as needed while maintaining accurate inventory counts.
- Make recommendations for improvements/efficiencies before implementing changes.
- Order parts for all divisions, locations, departments, and 3rd party customers.
- Implement best practices and new policies to reduce shrinkage.
- Work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure smooth operation of the shop, implement changes, and create efficiencies.
- Pick-up parts and help out the parts team as needed.
- Conduct semi-annually parts inventory counts.
- Coordinate with Procurement Team to secure parts, manage inventory, and establish supplier relationships.
- Maintain excellent vendor relationships.
- Advise mechanics on locating parts schematics.
- Promote a safe working environment and encourage a culture of safety amongst the team.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 Drivers license
- Clean drivers abstract
- Able to organize and stock various materials/supplies
- Maintain parts running duties for two separate facilities
- Able to proficiently mange time with mínimal supervision
- Able to lift 25KG unassisted
- Maintain an updated detailed stock list electronically
- Travel on various routes to retrieve needed materials from trusted vendors
- Often price check between various suppliers to avoid overspending
- Assist when required with shop duties as requested by superior
- Maintain a clean working facility and company vehicle
- Supply and stock crew vehicles with requested tooling
- Load securement training
- Adhere to corporate safety protocols

**Preference will be giving to those whom**
- Have a class 3 or 1 license
- Large equipment transport experience
- Experience pulling light duty/medium duty trailers
- Mechanical work experience
- Parts Technician experience
