You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

**How you will contribute**

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

**What you need to know about this position**:
You will prepare dough mixes from start to finish according to product standards. You will own the process beginning by unloading bulk ingredients, scaling and measuring ingredients, using the computer and digital controllers to mix the dough. Once mixed you will offload the dough into dough troughs and deliver to the production lines. You will be expected to use production data and product standards (i.e. temperature, moisture etc.) to gain insights to adjust the process as necessary to minimize waste and meet production volume targets. During your shift you will complete reports on paper and on the computer. You will also be required to perform regular housekeeping within the mixing room as well as sanitation duties on the mixer and surrounding area as required. You will be attending Small Group Activities on the processing area as a part of Autonomous Maintenance activities.

You will have a safety-first mindset, demonstrating attention to safety through the observational safety program (BOS & QRP) and follow all Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for the equipment. You will be committed to following GMP’s and quality standards.

**Education / Certifications**:

- Highschool diploma
- 1 year of manufacturing experience

**Job specific requirements**:

- Ability to lift 40 kg. ingredient bags to a height of 150 cm. at the rate of 10 to 15 bags per hour, and 25 kg pails/boxes to a height of 150 cm. at the rate of 10 to 15 bags per hour
- Ability to communicate clearly; verbal and written.

**Work schedule**:

- C ontinental weekend shift, 12-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday, plus two 8-hour shifts during the week.
