**Part Time Position - 88% FTE (Monday to Friday, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm)**

**Position Details**

Department: Junior School

Education: Post Secondary Education in Early Childhood Education

Registered with College of Early Childhood Educators

Experience: 1-3 + years’ experience teaching in Early Years (JK/SK)

Experience in Reggio (asset)

Experience in a non-profit setting (asset)

Experience in an Independent School (asset)

Working Conditions: School/Office Environment, Mac, Google

**Responsibilities**
- Support Kindergarten classroom programming
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members to plan and implement engaging and enriching activities for students during extended day hours
- Assist with extended day program, including supervising students during after-school activities and providing academic support as needed.
- Ensure the safe and nurturing environment for all students under care

- Experience with supporting innovative inquiry-based programming that challenges students with a variety of learning styles, interests and strengths.
- Exemplary communication and collaboration skills with the proven ability to develop relationships and a caring rapport with students and their families, and with colleagues.
