A.L Blair Construction Ltd has been proudly serving Eastern Ontario with quality aggregate products and heavy-civil construction services since 1932. We are currently recruiting a project coordinator to join our team.
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Experience in heavy civil construction is an asset.
- Play a support role in the estimating process and produce estimates for a variety of jobs
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules
- Coordinate project activities and ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project workflow
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment
- Conduct site visits to assess project status and identify any issues or risks
- Support the project team in resolving any conflicts or challenges that arise during construction
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including budgets, expenses, and change orders
- Play a support role in health and safety and be an active member of the health and safety committee.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
