Overview / Responsibilities:

**Responsibilities**
- ** Maintenance of field equipment kits**
- Thorough inspection of field equipment ensuring kit contents are maintained, repaired or replaced.
- Preparing kits in “ready to ship” condition and being compliant to field handling procedure.
- Calibrating velometers, accelerometers, pressure transducers, etc. once a year and maintaining an updated equipment list, calibration, and maintenance log in equipment management tool
- Keep track of all consumable equipment and safety supplies
- ** Logistics**
- Active participant in field scheduling by providing accurate logs of equipment availability by maintaining correct equipment log for each project by updating “Equipment Tracker” and “Planning Tool”.
- Organizing shipments with various freight companies (mostly FedEX) and using online tools to track equipment whereabouts during shipping.
- Preparing customs forms for international shipping
- Follow up of equipment with shippers if there is any delay in shipment.
- ** Purchasing**
- Obtain quotes from various vendors for purchase and rental of equipment and generating purchase orders.
- Coordinating equipment repairs/replacements with OEMs
- ** General**
- Organizing and maintain shop tools and equipment in clean and good working condition.
- Good communication skills both verbally and written.
- Self-initiative to perform and improve the field equipment and shop area.
- Work safely and follow safe working practices and comply to HSSEA policies and procedure.

Skills / Qualifications:

- High School Diploma required; Technical Diploma in Industrial Instrumentation or equivalent highly preferred
- Between 0 - 2 years of job-related experience in maintaining equipment and workshop area required
- Exposure to vibration data acquisition systems and transducers an asset
- Prior shipping experience an asset
