Machine Operator

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator, an individual who is capable of physically demanding labour, is safety conscious and comfortable in an industrial environment. We are interested in those who have a strong work ethic, maintains a positive attitude and is a strong team player.
- Work in a safety sensitive environment
- Read and understand construction drawings
- Take pride in the quality of their work, including maintaining 5S shop requirements
- Be a self-starter, reliable, punctual, and work with minimum supervision
- Pay attention to detail and is organized
- Set up reinforcements per operational requirements
- Learn and safely use the hydro-roller, Schnell, and as required, MBK
- Teach others the safe operation of machinery
- Be a safe and competent overhead crane operator or actively and responsibly work towards obtaining overhead travelling crane license, or possess license
- Complete LOTO training and ensure all LOTO procedures are followed in accordance with Shaw operational requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. occasionally
- Other duties, as required based on business needs
