Night Shift Security Guards safeguard premises during nocturnal hours, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, recording visitor and vehicle details, and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities encompass maintaining safety, preventing theft, monitoring suspicious activity, collecting information, and ensuring a secure environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Record information on vehicles and persons entering or coming near the property.
- Generate daily shift reports detailing the activity on property, including all suspicious activity.
- When requested by the residents of the property circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Security License
- CPR-C First Aid or higher qualification.
- Use of Force certification an asset, ability to complete Use of Force certification course required.
- NVCI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) or other security communication training an asset.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or law enforcement.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Ability to use basic computer programs and security systems.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
