**Position**: ACCESS Social Justice, Indigenization and Inclusion & Knowledge Mobilization Project Coordinator-
**Reports** **to**: ACCESS's Social Justice, Indigenization, and Inclusion (SJII) Committee and the Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Group**Status**: 1.0 FTE (0.5 FTE SJII and 0.5 FTE KMb) 1-year contract with potential for renewalACCESS is a new initiative that aims to build a national consortium/network and launch research projects that will effect change in the way children¿s cancers are advocated for, researched, and treated. The mission of ACCESS is that every Canadian child with cancer will have access to the latest scientific advances, diagnostic tools, therapy and supportive care leading to better outcomes and a better quality of life. ACCESS includes clinicians, researchers, survivors, patient advocates, and other stakeholders from across Canada who have diverse experience and expertise and embeds a patient
- and person-centred approach by directly engaging and collaborating with persons with lived experience. We are currently seeking a Research Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role the individual will be a key member of the ACCESS team and will be responsible for helping with the administration, coordination, and implementation of the activities of two cross-cutting groups in the ACCESS initiative: the Social Justice, Indigenization, and Inclusion (SJII) Committee and the Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Group.ACCESS has prioritized embedding values of reciprocity, equity and human rights in our work as a national pediatric cancer initiative. We are looking for an individual to join ACCESS who is interested in helping to create a diverse and inclusive community that strives to improve pediatric cancer outcomes, while simultaneously working to reduce barriers to treatment and outcome inequities.- The incumbent will need to balance multiple priorities and work collaboratively with stakeholders including, but not limited to, organizations and initiatives across the country, clinicians, researchers, people with lived experience, and equity-denied partner groups. The Project Coordinator position requires a proactive and action-oriented individual with outstanding organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.**Here¿s What You¿ll Get To Do**:

- Coordination and support of activities and work of the Social Justice, Indigenization, and Inclusion (SJII) Committee_
- Administrative management for the SJII Committee
- Coordinate (preparing materials, and providing logístical support) and, where necessary, facilitate meetings, record keeping, note taking, reminders and follow-up communications about action items
- Supporting the development of a resource repository
- Drafting initial documents and policies (i.e., on race and ethnicity-based data collection, indigenous data governance, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between the SJII Committee and the ACCESS Secretariat members (i.e., ACCESS Director of Strategy and Operations, Program Manager of Partnership and Engagement, and Central Project Managers)
- Other duties as assigned.
- Coordination and support of activities and work of the Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Group_
- Administrative management for the KMb Group and Hub
- Organize and coordinate meetings of the KMb Group and Hub and Knowledge Mobilization Events (including drafting agendas, ensuring invitations are sent out to appropriate stakeholders, taking minutes and documenting information shared and products that unfold)
- Assist in the drafting the protocol(s), preparing study materials for research ethics board(s) submission(s)
- Coordinate the recruitment, collection of data, data analysis and write-up of research studies undertaken by the KMb group and help facilitate the conduct of trainee-led studies.
