Lead Concessions Cook

**True North Sports + Entertainment** is looking for a Lead Concessions Cook to join our team at Canada Life Centre.**

The **Lead Concessions Cook** will be working with the Culinary team to oversee and lead the kitchen operation of concession areas in Canada Life Centre.

**What to be excited for in this role**:

- Ensure employees and supervisors comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and support the kitchen operations for the concession areas in Canada Life Centre.
- Support training and ongoing support for all kitchen employees in concession areas.
- Practice strict safety and sanitation to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare food items for customers using quality methods in a timely manner.
- Uphold open and professional communication with the team.
- Communicate effectively with Chef, kitchen team, and customers, while being able to follow instructions and recipes.
- Build relationships with team members to provide support and guidance, while meeting the needs for all concessions services.
- Ensure leaders are informed of issues that arise, and support resolutions.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What we need from you**:

- 3-5 years of experience in field, preferably in a quick service environment.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience, an asset.
- Must have a valid Certified Food Handler certificate.
- Understanding of food safety and liquor standards, along with relevant certifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and be adept at learning and adapting to new technologies and software as required.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to communicate with all patrons, customers and colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently solve customer concerns with the utmost professionalism.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- The highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
- Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to bend, crouch and safely lift up to 50lbs (22.7kg).**Why you should join us**:
