Warehouse Associate

Duties:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform various warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials and products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and replenish merchandise as needed
- Assist with inventory management and control
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Qualifications:

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of products or willingness to learn about them
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

**Skills**:

- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Order picking experience is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Experience in building displays or arranging merchandise is desirable
- Understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, is beneficial

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
