Thunder Bay, Canada Lakeside Studio & Café Full time

Duties:

- Operate electric kiln to fire all pottery for studio
- Maintain studio turn-around times & fire local drop-offs in timely manner
- Maintain organization system of pottery & kiln room
- Kiln & shelf maintenance

- Familiarity with ceramics & kiln would be considered an asset
- Willing to train, individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- This position offers an opportunity to work in a creative studio environment and gain experience in the ceramics process & technical operation of electric kilns. This position is unique as the schedule is very flexible, individual may complete firings (1-2 hour shifts, 2-4x a week) on their own schedule as long as the studio turn-around times are maintained.
- Additionally job benefits include 20% staff discount for studio purchases including workshops, a free cafe beverage per shift, free private staff parking, as well as free firings of personal ceramic work

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
