A Mindful Change is a small and growing mental health practice serving the Guelph, Georgetown and surrounding areas. It aims to provide the gold standard in psychotherapeutic services grounded in mindfulness including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion, amongst others. It also offers psychological and psychoeducational assessments for adults and youth. We operate from the values of Professional Excellence, Authentic Community, and Anti-Oppressive Practice and are committed to serving a variety of populations including priority populations such as children & youth and LGBTQ+ populations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Providing evidence based therapies (e.g, CBT, DBT, ACT) to individuals, families, and groups
- Knowledge of CBT and preference for those with training in DBT and Mindfulness
- Conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments with children and adults
- Preparing written clinical assessment summaries and/or assessment reports of psychometric findings and diagnostic conclusions in order to provide feedback of the assessment activities
- Preference for ability to coach DBT clients as needed throughout the week
- Must be willing to provide in-person, and virtual appointments at the Guelph and/or Georgetown office when needed
- Must be willing to seek out clinical supervision in accordance with their college guidelines.
- Must provide own professional liability insurance
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite tools, Jane Case Management System, Virtual platforms and webmail

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of graduate education, minimum Masters level degree in Psychology (i.e. M.A., M.Sc., M.Ps., M.Ed.),
- Will accept Masters and PhD. students of Clinical Psychology providing services to children and adolescents only.
- Registration (or qualifying) in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience with psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children, youth and/or adults.
- Previous training in CBT and/or DBT is considered an asset.
- Will have and maintain competence in administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of testing instruments.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-15 per week

**Salary**: $70.00-$150.00 per hour
