**Position Summary**:
You've got a dream — we've got the team. League's Brand Design team is at the creative heart of reimagining the future of health and wellness. A squad of copywriters, designers, and directors, we shape the identity and voice of League for our partners. We drive the strategy and direction for communicating across all channels to inspire love, earn loyalty, and promote long-term health.

As an Intermediate Copywriter, you'll bring our voice and copy strategy to life for partners through our Powered By League platform, creating customer-centric digital experiences for some of the largest healthcare companies in North America. For example, as one of the creative copywriters for the rapidly growing PC Health app, you'll champion the PC Health tone of voice in Canada. As our roster of industry-leading partners grows, you'll help onboard a wide array of clients to Powered By League. Your work will be read by millions as you help empower folks to live happier, healthier lives.

As a genuine owner, you'll develop creative copy while keeping in close contact with various stakeholders and working cross-functionally to make sure our partners' brands, apps, and products are driven by customer experience. You're passionate about furthering our inclusion and accessibility practices and placing an ethical lens onto your work.

**In this role you will**:

- Collaborate with the design, marketing, and product teams to deliver on-brand and on-brief copyon time.
- Partner with product designers and managers to create clear, concise UX copy that helps users easily navigate problems and enables them to make the right decisions.
- Work hand-in-hand with art directors, designers, and other writers on a conceptual and executional level to develop brand, CRM, and promotional campaign concepts, making sure that copy tone and style are consistent with the brand.
- Make sure that content connects to overall brand guidelines and narratives while championing the customer experience along the way.
- Work effectively within workflows and processes related to copy development, stakeholder approvals, legal, translations, and more.
- Proactively identify and anticipate expectations and needs and propose new strategic concepts to address them.
- Bring diverse needs and different views together, all in the service of extraordinary creative.
- Contribute to and evolve copy style guides and other brand documentation.

**About you**:

- 4+ years of copywriting experience in an agency, startup, or marketing role, including prior experience with consumer brands and creating customer-facing, B2C content and UX.
- Demonstrable experience creating and honing a brand voice.
- Top-drawer communication skills and a natural collaborator with designers, content and product marketers, technical writers, project managers, and more.
- A natural self-starter, you know the right time to ask relevant questions but are equally comfortable working with ambiguity to get the job done.
- Experienced working with multiple stakeholder teams and integrating various rounds of feedback throughout a creative development cycle.
- You love constructive feedback and know how to turn meaningful edits and comments into thoughtful actions that improve the work for everyone.
- Conceptual thinker, equally at home creating a punchy high-level headline and getting into the details of disclaimers and legal.
- Highly organized, eagle-eye attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple projects and brand tones simultaneously and pivot when timelines change.
- Compelling content advocate, comfortable presenting how your creative concepts align with existing strategies, instilling confidence in your stakeholders, and pushing projects forward.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience creating copy for health, wellness, or healthcare tech.
- Familiarity with UX writing principles, research and product design strategy.
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Familiarity with the Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws and PC Optimum brands.
- Experience maintaining copy systems, guides and frameworks.
