**Job Details**

**Position Title**:Scheduling** **Coordinator

**Status**: Full-Time Support (Appendix D)

**Duration**: November 2025

**Hours**: 35 hours per week

**Faculty/Department**: Office of the Registrar

**Campus/Location**: North Campus must be comfortable working hybrid, a minimum of three (3) days on-site.

**Salary**: Payband H (Min) $35.06 (Max) $40.71

**What you will do**:
Under Administrative direction of the Manager, Scheduling, Registration & Curriculum, the Scheduling Coordinator co-ordinates and plans all activities in the Scheduling department to support the underpinnings of the Registration process and ensure the effective and efficient use of College space.

Duties include the preparation of the critical path for the College Scheduling cycles, production and distribution of scheduling results for all academic activities (including apprenticeship and other non term based activities), training and support for the Academic School schedulers and the preparation of

various reports such as space utilization, room vacancy, and student blocks and curriculum comparisons. The incumbent is also instrumental in recommending enhancements to the college computerized scheduling system and processes.

**Experience and Skills**:
A minimum of three (3) years of related experience, including the following:

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated proficiency working with student information systems and relational databases. Example: Banner
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to explain complex processes
- Sound experience working in the post-secondary education environment with strong understanding of college business processes
- The incumbent must be a mature individual who is able to solve analytical problems, be well organized and possess leadership qualities
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of MS Access and Excel
- Experience working with large databases to produce query and reports using data mining tools such as Cognos and SQL
- This position requires someone who can work well under pressure and deadlines and can handle many tasks and projects simultaneously.
- The incumbent must be able to make and defend decisions; possess excellent interpersonal skills for advising and conflict resolution.
- The incumbent must be able to interpret guidelines and be able to determine when decisions need to be reviewed / revised.

**Hours of Work: 35 hours per week**

To be scheduled on-site and remotely anytime between Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

**Successful Applicants**:

- Must be comfortable working HYBRID, on-site for a minimum of three (3) days per week, and remotely as required.
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection and have a suitable and private workspace to take calls/meeting from home/remotely
