**Position Summary**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Customer Care / Helpdesk**:

- Repair of computers, laptops, custom computer builds.
- Ordering parts for repairs or sourcing solutions for new clients.
- Operating system patch management, mapping drives, configuring printers and scanners.
- Mobile device support and a clear understanding of iOS and Android operating systems.
- Will need to have excellent troubleshooting skills, and able to see an issue through to completion, with little support.
- Preventative Maintenance
- Managing ticketing system for support requests
- On call, after hours and holiday support required.
- Monitoring and Alerting
- Security Assurance
- Reporting
- Become proficient in support tools for Managed Services clients, Datto Continuity, Remote management. Will train.

**Network**:

- Clear understanding of internal networking; Routers, Switches, Firewalls, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, PoE, IP management, VPN
- Maintenance of LAN / WAN connectivity between sites and remote locations
- Maintain LAN connectivity of all networked devices.
- Firewall Management and configuration
- Updates and Patches to firmware, software, drivers
- Antivirus and Spam support

**On-Site Service**:

- Main level of support will be done remotely, proactively, through automation
- Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
- In-building moves and changes
- Transfer of data between devices (can be done remotely)

**Server**:

- Clear understanding of staging computers for deployment.
- Hosted exchange management.
- MS patches and security updates
- Data Recovery
- Domain, Active directory management & DNS Management

**Required qualifications and experience**:
**Technical**:

- 3-5 recent years’ experience in a Tier 1 or 1-2 years in a helpdesk, systems administration, or similar roll
- Working knowledge of LAN / WAN networking and related technologies
- Knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems, MacOS, iOS, Office 365 administration
- In-Depth knowledge of Microsoft Server (2008 to current) services including AD, DNS, DHCP
- Must write certifications for in-house monitoring and maintenance software, and Office 365 administration.

**General**:

- Self-motivated and high attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Vehicle and able to travel on site to support operations
- Available after hours and weekends on a project basis, or on-call rotation.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 - 90 per week
