EMSL Canada, one the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time **Laboratory Analyst** specializing in Asbestos analysis for its Montreal, QClaboratory location. EMSL Analytical Inc. is a continuously growing commercial environmental testing laboratory. No laboratory experience is necessary, just a desire to learn technical skills and become proficient in common laboratory practices and procedures. On-the-job training will be provided for all new employees Experienced Asbestos PLM analysts are welcomed to apply. Offering competitive pay.

**Responsibilities**:
Preparation and analysis of bulk materials for asbestos using microscopes.
Accurately enter data and analytical reports into LIMS database.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
Perform quality control practices per company Quality Assurance/Quality Control manual.

**Requirements**:
Minimum requirement of High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science field a plus.
Work well with an established team.
Good communication, computer, typing and organizational skills.
Must be bilingual.

**Available Shift**:
Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Responsabilités:
La préparation et l’analyse des matériaux en vrac pour l'amiante à l'aide de microscopes.
Saisir avec précision les données et les rapports analytiques dans la base de données LIMS.
Entretenir et dépanner l'équipement de laboratoire au besoin.
Effectuer le contrôle de la qualité conforme au manuel d'assurance qualité de la compagnie.

Exigences:
Exigence mínimale d'un diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent. Un diplôme d'associé ou un baccalauréat dans un domaine des sciences de la vie est un atout.
Travailler bien avec une équipe établie.
Bonnes compétences en communication, en informatique, en dactylographie et en organisation.
Doit être bilingue un atout.

Quart disponible:
Du Lundi au Vendredi de 9:00 à 17:30.
