Landscape Maintenance/ Labourer

J.G Landscaping and Snow Removal has been a family owned landscaping and snow removal business for over 30 years working in the Mississauga, Brampton, Georgetown and surrounding areas. We are located just north of Georgetown. We are seeking hard working and eager to learn individuals to help this season. Tasks may include but not limited to; mowing, trimming, pruning, garden care, landscaping, and snow removal/salting in the winter. Prior knowledge or ability to perform tasks would be a benefit, but not required if you are eager and willing to learn.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to meet at our shop in the Erin/ Georgetown area
- Able to work (Mon - Fri), option to work some Saturday's but not mandatory
- Ability to lift 30 -50lbs and withstand some repetitive physical work (kneeling, bending, lifting)
- Able to work in a team environment to complete daily tasks
- Work in various weather conditions; heat, humidity, rain, snow, cold, etc
- Self motivated with good work ethic and willing to learn
- Routinely punctual and dependable
- Able to follow and practice safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Valid driver’s license, clean record preferred
- Experience or ability to pull a trailer is an asset but not required
- Prior Landscape Maintenance or labour experience an asset
- Basic machine and tool maintenance knowledge an asset
- Prior snow removal experience an asset if looking to stay on for winter position

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Erin, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
