Mainland Group of Companies is expanding their gas division and is seeking **Natural Gas Construction Workers** to join our Energy division. Please see below for a list of opportunities:

- **Lane Closure Technician (LCT)**
- Responsible for understanding the traffic management plan for the site and ensuring proper traffic control set up, and the movement of people and vehicles adheres to the plan in a safe manner.
- **Labourer**
- Responsible for ensuring that the sites are well organized, clean, tidy and that the crews have everything they need to get the job done. This is a great opportunity to start your career and develop skills and experience
- **Operator**
- Responsible for operating a variety of excavation equipment for projects around high-pressure underground gas lines and other underground utility infrastructure in urban settings.
- **Fuser**
- Responsible to safely install, repair, test and perform fusions on natural gas distribution systems while adhering to specific Quality and Customer requirements.

Qualifications, Experience & Skillset
- Work safely in a construction site and promote a safe work environment adhering to safety policies and procedures including participation in safety meetings.
- Experience with Polyethylene Fusing
- Gas Pipeline construction experience
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Maintain quality results of work that is done
- Maintain equipment and promptly report any maintenance issues
- Good communications ability, able to work with variety of individuals
- Work as a team with other crew members on daily activities of the site
- First aid, confined space, and fall protection training is an asset.
- Understanding of Safety and ability to communicate Safety issues as they arise
- Must be physically fit, able to spend most or all shift standing, walking, lifting and carrying, working hands-on in an outdoor environment in all types of weather.
- Flexibility with hours worked, including overtime and weekend work as needed.
- Willingness to learn
- Must possess valid Class 5 Drivers License and be able to travel to sites across region
- Must be local to the Lower Mainland
