Basecamp Burger Joint in Beautiful Harrison Hot Springs is a breakfast and burger restaurant catering to the local and tourists needs. We are in the initial stage of development and would love to have someone who has passion for cooking to join our team to build the best experience for people walking in. Very flexible and housing is in consideration.

Position:
3 cook positions for breakfast/burger joint in Harrison Hot Springs BC.

Position Requirement:
1 Year experience

Hourly Wage:
$ Starting 17 per hr

Cook/Chef duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
**Breakfast and or Burger Chef Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Take control of the breakfast/burger service and ensure guestsreceive a truly delicious and memorable experience
- Cooking and managing service and assisting with service aspects.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
- Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
- Ensure all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time.
- Ensure all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipeand to the correct quantity.
- Ensure the department is operated within the appropriate legislation and the appropriate records are maintained up-to-date.
- Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly.
- Ensuring and controllinglevels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costson an ongoing basis.
- Monitor and Ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.
- Assist with producing menusand new dishes.
- Able to prepare different type of breakfast egg preparations and methods.
- Liaise with Purchase for restaurant
- Ensure costings and budgetsare achieved
- Adhere to Health & Safetypolicies and regulations.
- Have a good knowledge on health & safety, hygiene, equal opportunities, HACCPand any other legislation.
- Able to handle pressure calmly and professionally.
- Attend training coursesas and when required.
- Hours of work are normally 7am to 1pm for breakfast and beyond for burgers 12pm - 8pm.
- Carry out any other duties as required by management.

- Passion for cooking
- Friendly outgoing personality along with excellent personal presentation.
- Passionate about producing high quality food.
- Able to tackle every task given to you with the highest levels of enthusiasm.
